Backache, especially lower backache is the most common complaint in most of the patients irrespective of age group.
Causes for Backpain :Many factors contribute to this complaints such ad Obesity, Posture, work, etc
Symptoms :Patients usually present with symptoms like backache, radiating pain with tingling sensation in one/ both legs, Weakness of the legs.
Treatment :Backpain - Causes and treatment and treatment for most of the backaches are managed conservatively with Physiotherapy, lifestyle modifications and Analgesics. Usually belts are advice to be worn while working which maintains posture and hot water fomentation to relieve Spasm.
If symptoms progress to radiating pain with tingling sensation and weakness, we advice conservative management with Physiotherapy and Analgesics. But if conservative measures fail, then patient in adviced surgery.
1. Discs are treated with Discectomy.
2. Spondylolisthesis are treated with Pedicle Screw fixation.
